More often then not, things don’t happen the way you planned. The road is often windy, it doesn’t always make sense and sometimes it brings you to your knees.
It doesn’t matter what you’ve been through, it brought you here. You are right here, right now and where that is, is perfect.
So what do you do when it doesn’t feel perfect?
There’s always an opportunity, a learning moment. The best thing to do in any situation is to sit back and ponder – ‘what is it that I am meant to learn from this?’
This, at first, can be a difficult concept to grasp. Things that happen in your day-to-day which may seem completely random, are actually perfect moments happening at the perfect time for you to learn and grow.
Losing my Dad from the physical plane over 5 years ago, was one of the hardest, most excruciating moments that I have ever been through. So you might say – what was the learning point from that? How did that happen, to help you learn and grow?
It was the single, most powerful learning experience in my entire life.
It made me question EVERYTHING about the world.
It brought me back to myself.
It started the reconnection between my human self and my spirit.
It connected me with the world of psychic and mediumship, a world that made so much sense to me on the inside, but that I’d essentially pushed aside (and way, way down) in preference of the acceptable day-to-day of society and culture.
I have learnt more in the last 5 years than I feel I’ve learnt my entire life.
The soul continues on.
We have the choice of whether to incarnate again, on this planet or on one of the billions of others in the MULTI-verse.
We can choose to live in spirit, and act as guides to those who have incarnated.
We CHOOSE what it is that we do at any given moment.
This means that YOU have chosen to be here at this time, and what a time to choose! We are shifting paradigms, timelines and dimensions. The ascension process is happening at the speed of light. Sometimes it feels like we are in danger of some kind of multi-faceted whiplash.
Take care to stay grounded (spend time in nature).
When you realise that the truth is so much bigger than you, your physical life and physical world, it makes you think about everything differently. You are here to learn and grow, and from what I have come to understand, master your emotions. Being here in this human body is about you experiencing and coming to master, all of the emotions that exist.
ALL OF THEM.
This is easier said than done, and requires you to be completely honest with yourself. For a long time I actually thought that I didn’t have any anger inside of me, because I do lots of yoga and meditation, I like to write and I don’t really react in anger. But there’s anger inside me. There’s frustration inside me. There’s resentment inside me. And that is OK! I am not ‘perfect’.
I am on the path to mastering MYSELF. The process includes understanding the shadow side of me, getting deep down in it and understanding WHY, but first, you must accept that it’s there. I am the woman who gets annoyed, sad, frustrated and downright cranky sometimes.
I’m writing this because I have been that cranky person the last couple of days, and a good friend of mine reminded me that it is ok, and to stop judging myself for it. He reminded me to simply be.
So today, I’m going to cook my family a yummy and nourishing dinner, I’m going to drink a glass of Biodynamic Rose, and I’m going to go to bed early after a relaxing guided meditation.
So here’s to all of us…
Realising that the truth is so much bigger than us.
Realising that the truth is so much bigger than this world.
Realising that the truth is so much bigger than this life.
And here’s to cutting ourselves some slack, when we feel like we just can’t figure it all (or even one thing!) out.
With love, and a wine glass,
Lauren
